- If required, check planning applications.
- If required, write to request notices are served
- Review the notice(s) and accompanying drawings to verify their validity and suitability.
- Coordinate with the building owner and/or their surveyor
- If required, select a suitable third surveyor (to be called upon where the appointed surveyors cannot reach agreement).
- Attend your property to understand the possible impact of the works and confirm the accuracy of the drawings.
- If required, negotiate an equitable party wall award with the builder owner’s surveyor.
- Make and serve the party wall award.
- Offer ongoing support, advice and guidance to you throughout.
- Advise on how to deal with issues should they arise.
